Ayurvedic Indian Head & Beauty Massage
Based on the texts from 2000 years ago and being one of the first massage sequences to be recorded, it has earned its place as one of the most beneficial.
The Indian Head massage comes from the Indian medicine system called Ayurveda (science of life) where they believe the mind and body are intricately connected and improves not only scalp condition & facial beauty but also general physical and mental well-being. It focuses on the pressure points along the head, neck and shoulders with optional work on the face, whilst the client is fully or lightly clothed.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy massages are best for people who enjoy scent and want to have an emotional healing component to their massage. It combines soft, gentle pressure with the use of essential oils which are absorbed into the blood steam via the skin.
We can cater for the following themes; invigorating, relaxing/sleep, anti-allergy, cheerful, grounding, pain relief and chronic fatigue/burnout.
"Just one drop of essential oil contains thousands of molecules which are absorbed into the skin and show up in the blood stream in as little as five minutes and surround each cell within a short period of time. Plant cells have a similar structure to human cells, which is why essential oils are so soluble in the human body.
When essential oils are inhaled, the molecules pass directly into receptors in the brain where memories are stored causing stored emotions to be released.
These scent molecules may help the body relieve past traumas, anger, and resentment. That is why smell can bring back memories, like the smell of lavender reminding you of Grandma, cinnamon bringing back the smells of mom’s cooking, or the scent of perfume bringing back memories of a past lover.
Every time oils are inhaled the molecules pass directly into receptors in the brain where memories are stored, so old and repressed memories stored in the limbic area of the brain may be released; helping to heal resentment, anger, depression, and many other emotions."
